"To understand water is to understand the cosmos, the marvels of nature, and life itself."

"Water is the lifeblood of our bodies, our economy, our nation and our well-being."

"Fluoridation of drinking water represents a crude and imprecise delivery system for fluoride which has questionable efficacy in reducing tooth decay. Moreover, typical levels of fluoride treatment make fluoridated water unsafe for one of the most vulnerable groups in society, namely infants. An increasing body of research points to a diverse range of potential adverse health risks, from endocrine disruption to bone fractures to cancer. When total fluoride exposure from multiple sources, including drinking water, toothpaste and other oral care products, is taken into account, fluoridation of water has to be seen as a dangerous and unnecessary management strategy for tooth decay that fails any normal risk assessment. Given the proven effectiveness of non-hazardous management strategies, such as education which aims to reduce sugar consumption and improve toothbrushing practices in children, water fluoridation has no place as a form of mass medication and prophylaxis."
